Russia will not extend terms of military service

The initiative of Vladimir Komoyedov (Communist Party) to extend military service of Russian conscripts to 1.5 years will not be realized, RIA Novosti reports.

Russian President Vladimir Putin realized his promise and reduced service terms from 2 to 1.5 and then to 1 years.
