Russia wants Palestine to become UN observer

Spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Lukashevich said that Russia approves granting membership to Palestinian National Authority as a UN observer, RIA Novosti reports.

Palestine announced plans to become an observer at the UN General Assembly on November 29 with recognition of its borders of 1949-1967.
