Abkhaz population calls for support for compatriots in Syria

Sukhumi has recently held a meeting to support Abkhaz-Adygeyan communities in Syria and to call for provide them with aid, Interfax reports.

Attendants of the meeting called for a session of tjhe Abkhaz government and parliament to discuss humanitarian aid, evacuation of compatriots and their accomodation in hotels. They also proposed appointing a special presidential representative for communities.
