Iran’s Ahmadinejad hails 'Gaza victory over Israel'

Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has hailed what he called 'the victory of the people of Gaza over the Israeli regime in the recent Tel Aviv aggression against the coastal enclave.'

In a telephone conversation with Secretary General of the Islamic Jihad of Palestine Ramadan Abdullah, Ahmadinejad said 'the resistance and bravery of the Palestinian nation was the key to their victory over Israel.'

He underlined unity and solidarity among all Palestinian groups, adding that the eight-day war proved that the biggest objectives can be achieved through unity.

 “Today is thr day that all [Palestinian groups] should become united on the basis of the Palestinian cause and stand together until all Palestinian objectives are realized,” he added.
