Russian officer convicted to 12 year for murder

FSB Major Vyacheslav Yefimenko of the Stavropol Territory has lost his rank and the 2nd-rank Fatherland Merit Medal and sentenced to 12 years of prison.

The officer shot Yevgeny Korneyev in the neck and Senior Warrant Officer Albert Kosov in the Zelenchuksky District of Karachay-Cherkessia in December 2011. Korneyev died, Kosov was gravely injured.
