Gelenjik and Netanya become twin cities

Gelenjik (Krasnodar Territory, Russia) accepted the cooperation proposal of Netanya (Israel) to exchange experience, RIA Novosti reports.

Netanya started searching for a Russian twin city after the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin in June 2012 where he opened a memorial for Soviet soldiers.

The twin cities of Netanya are Angul (France), Hildesheim (Germany), Kallithea (Greece) and Vitebsk (Belarus).
