Iran to replace Tupolevs with Boeing and McDonnell Douglas airplanes
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaSeyed Mehdi Sadeki, executive director of Iran Air Tour, announced that in next 6 months its Tupolev 13 airplanes will be substituted at a cost of 180 million dollars, reports Iran News. The issue of financing the purchase of new planes is now being discussed. The planes will be replaced with Boeing and McDonnell Douglas aircraft gradually one by one over the next 5-6 months . He added that there are no problems with the Tupolevs, but that the public has a bad attitude towards them.
