CIS air defenses to have military drills in Moscow Region

About 100 aircraft have been mobilized for military drills at the Command Post of the Aerospace Defense Forces in the Moscow Region this morning, RIA Novosti reports.

Air maneuvers will be organized in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, spokesman of the Russian Aerospace Defense Forces Col. Alexey Zolotukhin said.

Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine will take part in the drills. They will use the following aircraft: Su-27, MiG-29, MiG-31, Su-24, Su-25, Tu-22, Tu-160, Tu-95, Ka-27, Mi-8.
