Russian fans to show passport to buy tickets

The Russian Football Premier League has passed amendments to the regulations of the national championship and the disciplinary regulations of the Russian Football Federation.


Purchases of tickets to football matches will require spectators to present their passports and will have names of buyers on them. The new rules were passed after injury of goalkeeper Anton Shunin at the Dinamo vs. Zenit match at the Khimki Stadium. He was injured by a petard thrown by fans.
