Chechen leader focuses on religious tolerance

Ilman Bechurkayev, head of the Russian Islamic University of Kunt-Haji, told Vestnik Kavkaza that over 5,000 Chechen pilgrims had had hajj this year. 3,500 of them made their hajj with the help of Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov. Over 50 teachers and students in the university made hajj.

Bechurkayev said that the hajj committee was improving its work every year. He added that Chechnya was focusing on religious tolerance.
