Georgian former chief inspector arrested

Georgian former Chief of General Inspection of the Interior Ministry Tengiz Gunava suspected of storing narcotics and weapons was released at bail of $6,000. He is now suspected of stealing 3000 liters of petroleum, his lawyer Malkhaz Velidzhnashvili says, News Georgia reports.

The chief inspector worked under supervision of Bacho Akhalaya. Gunava was summoned for questioning about excess of authority and illegal acquisition.
