Kadyrov: Russia is Islamic world’s best friend

Russia is the best friend the Islamic world has, Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov said during a meeting with ambassadors of Persian Gulf states at the Kuwaiti embassy in Moscow, his press office said.

Kadyrov also said that Russia demonstrated its friendship with actions rather than words, and that Moscow had always defended the Islamic world’s interests.

The ambassadors noted Kadyrov’s contribution to the development of Islam in Russia.

The Chechen president also said that modern Chechnya bore almost no traces of the two separatist wars, and that the capital, Grozny, was developing day by day and is becoming one of the most beautiful cities in Russia.”
