Month of contemporary Dagestani art to be held in Moscow

A month-long exhibition of contemporary art of Dagestan will be held in Moscow, a representative of the art centre "Umlauts. Place of Action” told RIA Dagestan.

 The project envisages holding four solo exhibitions of interesting Dagestani artists of different generations and nationalities: Timur Musaev-Kagan, Ibrahim Khalil Supyanov, Marat Yusupov and Khasbulat Hajiyev.

The month of Dagestani contemporary art officially opens on December 4, with an exhibition of graphics and paintings of versatile talented master-painter, writer, philosopher and tireless seeker of spiritual treasures Timur Musaev-Kagan.

On December 11, Moscow will host an exhibition by the greatest master of Dagestani art Ibrahim Khalil Supyanov. On December 18 the project will be continued by an exhibition of one of the leading masters of the Dagestani school of graphics and decorative painting, writer, journalist and editor of "Highlanders" magazine Marat Hajiyev.
