Russians approve of Cossack patrols -polls

Social polls of Levada Center says that 42% of Russians approve Cossack patrols, 13% disapprove and 29% have ironic attitude to the patrols.

Most people approving the Cossack patrols were female (45%), elders and pensioners (47%), people with medium or lower education (45% and 48% respectively).

30% of wealthy population approves the initiative, 49% of the poor approve it.

40% of people in medium cities and 29% in large cities approve it, compared with 41% in Moscow and 45% in small ones. 52% of the rural population approves Cossack patrols.
