Cartoon director Fedor Khitruk dies aged 95

Famous Russina cartoom director Fedor Khitruk died in Moscow aged 95,
announced today the Association of Animated Films.
Fedor Savelievich Khitruk was born on May 1, 1917 in Tver. From 1931
to 1934 he studied at the Art and Crafts school in Stuttgart. As a
20-year old intern he came to the cartoon studio "Soyuzmultfilm" and
stayed there for almost half a century. As an animator, he created 200
characters in 102 films, including Ole Lukoye, the Snow Queen and
Little Red Riding Hood. The most famous work of Khitruk include
"Winnie the Pooh", "The History of a Crime," "Film-film-film" and
"Vacations of Boniface."
Date and place of burial of the great animator are not announced.
