Kazakh junior hockey players die in car crash

In Eastern Kazakhstan a private car carrying four 10-year old junior

hockey players of the Lokomotiv team were victims of a road accident.

The car was

taking them to Ust-Kamenogorsk to take part in the first round of

the Junior Hockey Championship.

The accident took place near the village of Tavria. As a result, two boys

died immediately and two were taken to hospital in Ust-Kamenogorsk in

critical condition. "Now the children are in intensive care,"

Deputy head of the regional public health department Sergey Popov said,
