Bayram Safarov, Chairman of the Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno-Karabakh Association, believes that 2012 had little progress in the peace process of the region, Trend reports.

The official invited the Armenian community for talks and calls such meetings positive. He says that Armenia should be interested in negotiations. Meetings of communities will give Armenia an image about development and progress.

Safarov supposes that Armenian authorities do not want the two states to have contacts, even despite a meeting organized in Germany, which Armenia had skipped.
