Kurdish authorities provoke conflict, Iraqi PM says

Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki says the Kurdish authorities are provoking a conflict. 

The prime minister said so commenting on the recent decision made by the authorities of the Kurdish autonomy to move Kurdish military forces to the region of Kirkuk, a disputed territory, on which both the Kurdish autonomy and Iraq claim rights.

"This was an irresponsible decision that leads to an escalation of conflict," the Iraqi prime minister said.
