Russia has increased the quota for foreigners engaged in retail sales of alcohol drinks, including beer, by 25% in 2013, ITAR-TASS reports.

The old quota was insufficient for sales of alcohol drinks by companies and caused shortages of loaders, cleaners and pickers of goods.

The Russian government still forbids foreigners to be involved in retail sales of pharmaceutical products, trading in markets and other non-store commerce.
