Istanbul hosts Caspian Forum

Istanbul is hosting the Caspian Forum organized by the Turkish Agency for Development and Cooperation, Turkish government, Berkeley University and Brooklyn University.

The forum will be attended by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Minister for Energy taner yildiz, US former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, Georgian Defense Minister Irakly Alasania, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev, experts and political analyst.

They will discuss the role of the Caspian Sea in the global policy, investments and energy security.

The forum will include discussions of nominations: State Figure of the Year, Scientist of the Year, Athlete of the Year and Artist of the Year.
