Residential house on fire in Sochi

A major fire broke out in a residential house here on Saturday morning. “A woman was found dead in the fire-fighting,” the press service the emergency situation department in the Krasnodar Territory told Itar-Tass on Saturday.

“The fire alarm call came at 04:12 Moscow time on Saturday about the fire in a flat on the 5th floor of the residential house in Chebrikov Street,” a duty emergency officer said. The first fire truck arrived at the fire site four minutes later.

The fire has spread on 1,200 square metres, 22 units of machinery and 66 firemen are involved in the fire-fighting efforts. The fire engulfed on nine flats of the residential house.
