The Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations will announce the winners of the fourth “Constellation of Courage” festival on Sunday. By tradition, the winners are announced on December 9, marked as Day of Russian Heroes, ITAR-TASS reports.

The holiday was established in 2007 to honour Heroes of the USSR and the Russian Federation, the cavalries of the Order of St. George and
the holders of the Order of Glory of three degrees.

The decoration ceremony will take place at the Moscow Palace of Youth.

The idea of holding the first “Constellation of Courage” festival, uniting the military, law enforcers, journalists and the general public for the cause of saving people, belongs to Sergei Shoigu, the first head of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations.
