Russia and Georgia to start direct negotiations this week

Georgian Foreign Minister Maya Panjikidze said today that special envoy of the Georgian government for relations with Russia Zurab Abashidze will have negotiations with Russian officials this week.

The special envoy confirmed plans for an informal meeting with Russian representatives.
