Russian president wants economy to scrap off-shore schemes

Russian President Vladimir Putin told the Federal Assembly that development limits by natural resources had been reached and the country needed innovative decisions to give a growth rate of 5-7% annually.

Commenting on “fleeing” of the capital from Russia, Putin called for an end to the off-shore system of economy. He demanded the government to make proposals to solve the problem.
