Kazakhstan closes oppositionist TV channel

The Bostadyk District Court of Alma-Ata has closed the K+ TV Channel and its website for spreading illegal information.

Prosecutors of Alma-Ata demanded 8 newspapers and 23 websites as single source of the Respublika mass media and close them down. This includes the Vzglyad paper, K+ TV, stan.tv and other resources in November.
