US to abandon Manas base in Kyrgyzstan by 2014

The United States is going to abandon its air base in Manas, Kyrgyzstan, by 2014, Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev is quoted as saying by Interfax.

The talks concerning possible abandonment of the base started in 2010.
