Iranian Film Week held in Lisbon

Iran has held a film week in the Portuguese capital, Lisbon, to provide an opportunity for introducing Iranian cinematic arts and culture

, Press TV reports.

Iran’s ambassador to Portugal and a number of cinema officials in Lisbon attended the opening ceremony held on December 10, 2012. 

Ali Reza Saadatnia’s The Passion of Charlie and Seyyed Reza Mir Karimi’s Persian Carpet are among the movies that represent Iranian cinema at the event. 

The presented movies were selected by both Iran’s embassy in Lisbon and Portugal’s Cinema Museum (Portuguese Cinematheque).
