Last respects to Galina Vishnevskaya to be paid today

Last respects to Galina Vishnevskaya will be paid at the Opera Song Center in Moscow at 1.00-8.00 pm today. She will be buried at the Novodevichye Cemetery tomorrow.

Vishnevskaya was born in Leningrad on October 25, 1926. She worked at the Leningrad Regional Operetta Theater, the Bolshoi Theater. She married cello player Mstislav Rostropovich in 1955.
