German Patriot missiles to be deployed near Turkey’s Kahramanmaras

The two Patriot missile complexes of Germany will be deployed 100km away from the border in Turkey near Kahramanmaras, a city with textile industry and a population of 430,000 people, Georgian Minister of State Michael Link said, ITAR-TASS reports.
German Defense Minister Thomas de Maiziere said that the missile complexes were serving peaceful purposes. He noted that the missiles were not meant for creation of a no-fly zone over Syria and will only be used on the Turkish territory.
