Hazardous chemicals found in Turkish ex-president’s body

Turkish forensic experts found cadmium and DDT in the remains of Turkish President Turgut Ozal’s body, head of the court medical examination department Haluk Inje said, ITAR-TASS reports.

DDT used against pests was banned in Turkey in 1980. But was an unlikely the cause of the ex-president’s death. Inje added that experts needed better laboratories for a more scrupulous study.
