Mass clashes caused by trial of 300 accused of overthrowing Erdogan's regime start in Turkey

Istanbul has been swept with riots - thousands took to the streets to take part in a protest next to the building of a court which is hearing the case of 300 people accused of overthrowing the government of Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The police is using gas and power to disperse protesters.

A group "Ergenekon" is accused of organizing terrorist attacks against politicians and trying to overthrow the regime of Erdogan. 300 people have been arrested in relation to the case.
