Israel intends to increase trade turnover with Azerbaijan significantly next year

intends to significantly increase bilateral trade with Azerbaijan. He noted
that in 2012 turnover amounted to more than $4 billion, "Azerbaijan
has a good business climate, and Israeli companies are interested in
cooperating with the country," Harpaz said.
The Azerbaijani government plans to sign agreements on the avoidance of
double taxation, cooperation in agriculture and visa facilitation, in order
to encourage the involvement of Israeli businessmen in the country.
Another important area of cooperation is the energy sector. The ambassador
noted that an Israel-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce might be created to
make a positive impact on the development of trade and economic relations
between the two countries.
