Russia and Ukraine to save kidnapped journalist together

Spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Lukashevich said today that Russia and Ukraine will unite efforts to save Ankhar Kochneva, a journalist kidnapped in Homs by the Free Syrian Army in early October.

Ukraine urged Damascus to be more active in saving the journalist and punishing the kidnappers.

The kidnappers demanded $50 million for the journalist or she will be executed on December 13. The deadline was shifted to December 14.
