Unemployment rate reduced by 40 % since 2008 in Chechnya
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaIn the last four years the number of unemployed in the Chechen Republic has decreased by 40%, from 298.5 thousand to 170 thousand people. This was reported today by the Russian Ministry of Regional Policy.
According to forecasts of the agency, by the end of 2012 the growth rate of the gross regional product of Chechnya will increase by 4.3% compared with 2008 and will reach 108% of annual GDP growth, the annual industrial production index will reach 117.7%.
Positive changes are observed in the field of social security.
These changes are supported by the federal target program "Socio-economic development of the Chechen Republic from 2008-2012." The FTP has provided 14 billion rubles in 2012 of which 12.2 billion were from the federal budget and 644 million from the budget funds of Chechnya. The rest of the funding has come outside of budgets.
