Kalmykia becomes richer, Ministry of Finance removes republic from list of highly subsidized republics

Russia's Finance Ministry has issued an order to exclude Kalmykia from the list of highly subsidized regions of the Russian Federation.

It approved lists of subjects of the Russian Federation in 2013 and distributed in relation to the estimated proportion of intergovernmental transfers in the amount of their own revenues of the consolidated budget, Interfax reports.
