Frost kills 18 people in Ukraine

Heavy snowfall and frost have caused serious damage in Ukraine. All in all, 18 people have died from hypothermia and frostbite, 12 of them died on the street, the press service of the Ministry of Health reports.

According to the Ministry of Health 133 people have come to the hospitals for help, 108 of them were hospitalized, ITAR-TASS reports.

Most people died in the Volyn and Kiev regions.

The temperature in Ukraine has fallen down to minus 15-17 degrees.
