Putin sees improvements in North Caucasus

Russian President Vladimir Putin noted decline of crime in Chechnya and improvement of its economic life. He added that the number of terrorist attacks had dropped in the North Caucasus.

The president believes that socio-economic development will determine the situation in the region. He added that unemployment was over 25%, especially among young people. Putin wants to give more young people an opportunity to study.
