State company to manage Turkish energy market

A special state company will be formed in Turkey to control the energy exchange this year, Hurriyet reports.

The bill to form the exchange is under consideration at the parliament. It will be formed with assistance of the European Energy Exchange.

Turkey will tender sales of four networks for distribution of electricity in February 2013.
