Iran to come to Armenian pastures

The governor of the Syunik region of Armenia will soon pay a visit to the

Iranian province of Eastern Azerbaijan. During the trip he is expected to sign

an agreement to lease pastures in the Syunik region to

Iran for grazing cattle.

 

"Under the agreement, as compensation for the leased pastures Iran

will provide Armenia with agricultural machinery," the head of

the the Ministry of Agriculture's Office in East Azerbaijan province,

Masoud Mohammadian, said.

 

In addition, according to Mohammadian, Iran plans to build a meat-processing plant in Gerus in Armenia.
