The administration of the Itum-Kale district  closed the newspaper

"Kadyrov's Way" today after a question from its journalist at a big press

conference given by Vladimir Putin in Moscow.

The newspaper "Kadyrov's way" was named after the first President of

Chechnya, Akhmad Kadyrov, but the family of the first president of the

republic were not aware of the name of this newspaper.

"I think that first of all it was necessary to ask the opinion of the

family, to ask whether they would agree to give the name of Kadyrov to

the newspaper. Otherwise, it is unethical," the head of Chechnya Ramzan

Kadyrov said.

At the press conference the journalist of this newspaper asked Putin

about the reduction in broadcasting of "Kavkaz" radio. The president

promised to "talk with colleagues" and "try to change something for

the better and to increase funding."
