Bilasuvar border crossing check point opens clinic for infertility treatment

A specialized clinic for infertility treatment will open soon at the Bilasuvar

border checkpoint in Iran. This was announced by the head of the

scientific and cultural center of the province of Ardabil, Akbar

Ghasemi.

The clinic is open on the Azerbaijani-Iranian border to serve patients

from Azerbaijan. 40% of Azerbaijani citizens crossing the border

through Bilasuvar go to Iran for medical treatment.

On February 1, 2010, Iran unilaterally abolished visa requirements for citizens of Azerbaijan.
