Obama repeals Jackson-Vanik amendment

U.S. President Barack Obama today signed an official order, finally

repealing the Jackson-Vanik amendment concerning Russia.

"The establishment of normal trade relations with Russia will allow

the U.S. to take full advantage of the WTO for trade with Russia,"

Interfax quoted the White House document.
