Russian Muslim official expects no apocalypse

Damir Mukhetdinov, deputy chairman and head of the office of the Muslim Administration of the European Part of Russia, said that there will be no apocalypse today. He reminded that, according to Islam, the Judgment Day will not come as long as at least one person believes in God, and there are billions of such people.

Moscow Mufti Albir Krganov said that the day will come, but only the Lord knows when. He added that thoughts about apocalypse were good for people, it reminds them that their lives will end some day. Every person should think about the good he or she did to tell about it to the Lord, Krganov notes.
