Georgia to send new ambassador to Ukraine

Georgian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Ukraine Grigol Katamadze said at an Iberiyeli meeting that he was resigning, Georgia Online reports.

The official noted that the elections on October 1 were a victory of democracy and his was having his final meeting with the Georgian community as an ambassador.

Katamadze was appointed as the ambassador to Ukraine in January 2009. His replacer will arrive in 2013.
