On December 26 at the State Kremlin Palace the all-Russian New Year show, also known as the president’s show, will take place. This show will be attended by 370 young people from the North Caucasus. The North Caucasus Federal District will be represented by delegations from Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, Chechnya, Dagestan, North and South Ossetia, Abkhazia, and the Stavropol Territory.
On December 24, a special children's train of 19 wagons started off from Mineralnye Vody. Among the wagons there are two restaurant cars, where children will have breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a special children's menu there. The train will be accompanied by a pediatrician, a psychologist, and the police. The train consists of compartment cars, equipped with environmentally friendly toilet systems.
This year, 48 children and 14 chaperones have left Chechnya for Moscow. "Children are in a good mood, every child has the status of a guest of President of Russia. We have considerable and representative delegation; as for the NCFD, only the Stavropol Territory and Dagestan have sent more numerous delegations to Moscow. The delegation includes orphans, excellent pupils, winners of different competitions and Olympiads. All financial costs - food, lodging, gifts and more – are provided by the republican government and the federal government. This is like in a package tour abroad, all inclusive”, the head of the Chechen delegation Ela Salgereev told VK.
Visits to the Kremlin New Year show, though considered a traditional annual celebratory event, is one of the most important events in the life of the children.
"I'm going to Moscow for the presidential New Year show at the Kremlin. I will be photographed with Vladimir Putin, with a tree, the Snow Maiden and Grandfather Frost. I'm going there with my friend and we are very happy ", nine-year-old Markha Murtazova says.
"I am going to the Kremlin Christmas show where I will perform. I am a dancer in the ensemble "Salam"; I am also doing jiu-jitsu. I've never been to Moscow, I think it's beautiful. I will dance together with Dagamara which is also here today, and we are well prepared”, Khalid Aysagurov says.
This year, 36 children from the North Ossetian delegation will visit the ice rink on Red Square during the big New Year Celebration on December 26. This is part of the established tradition, according to which a year ago the ice show was attended by representatives of the delegation of Kabardino-Balkaria, and in 2010 – of the Stavropol Territory.
A total of about 600 children from the SFD and NCFD will attend the New Year show in Moscow. In addition to the show, the group will visit other activities, numerous plays and Christmas shows. A journey to the circus and rides is planned. The most important part of the trip will be a cultural program, which includes a detailed tour with visits to Moscow landmarks. The Kremlin New Year show is traditionally attended by about 5000 children.
In Grozny office buildings are already decorated for New Year. The center of the city is decorated with festive lights. In the Putin Prospect and Kadyrov Prospect hundreds of trees are shrouded with LED strips, facades of houses are decorated with garlands. In the center of the Chechen capital from December 25 to January 10, 2013 a universal fair will be held. The central city tree is already installed, and its height is about 40 meters.
