Russian warships on the way to Syria

The large landing ships "Azov" and "Nicholay Filchenkov" of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF) departed today for Syria's Tartus, where the logistics base of the Russian Navy is located.

"Azov "and" Nicholay Filchenkov " are expected to pass through the Bosphorus and the Dardanelles on December 26-27. On December 28 the ships are expected to join several other Black Sea Fleet ships in the Aegean Sea, ITAR-TASS quotes its source in the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.
