Nino Burjanadze in litigation with Georgian media

Her press-secretary, Khatuna Ivanishvili, said that the suit was initiated against the TV company Rustavi-2, the newspaper Prime Time and internet publisher Droni.ge over reports about a country house she allegedly purchased with money she received from Moscow, Trend reports.
Droni.ge reported that 1.8 million was first transported to Kiev from Moscow and then to Tbilisi and was paid for "confidential information“.
Burjanadze claims that Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili is behind what she says is a media campaign against her.
