Drivers of "minibuses" in Nalchik protest

The drivers of Nalchik "minibuses" held an unsanctioned protest against GLONASS vehicles. According to the Interior Ministry of Kabardino-Balkaria, 15 members of the protest were arrested, RIA-Novosti reports.

New regulations on the use GLONASS systems were approved by the Government Decree № 720 dated from September 10, 2009. "It (the installation of GLONASS equipment) is worth several tens of thousands of rubles, and many simply do not have such money," one of the protesters said.
