Iranian contractors are ready to launch construction of a gas pipeline between Iraq and Iran, 270 km long, with a diameter of 42 inches and a capacity of up to 25 million cubic meters a day.

It is assumed that by the end of 2013 Iranian gas will flow through the province of Ilam to the "Al-Mansur" power station near Baghdad, Fars reports.
