Turkish foreign official arrives in Moscow for Syrian talks

Turkish Foreign Ministry Under Secretary Feridun Sinirlioglu has arrived in Moscow to hold talks on Syria with high-ranking Russian officials, the Voice of Russia cites Turkey’s foreign office as saying on Wednesday.

Turkish media report that Mr. Sinirlioglu arrived in the Russian capital the day before, following an invitation from Russia’s deputy foreign chief Mikhail Bogdanov.

During his two-day stay, the Turkish foreign official will discuss the situation in the region, focusing his attention on the Syrian turmoil, before setting out for the US next week.
